WHAT TO EXPECT

Online Service

Due to COVID, our Sunday Morning Service (and most of our activities) are currently hosted on ZOOM. We're using ZOOM because it lets us see each other and interact in real time instead of watching a video. Go here for more information about our COVID response.

We know that many people are ZOOMED-OUT, so we have worked to keep the service under and hour and prioritize participation. The service lasts one hour and includes a time of worship, testimonies, prayer and a sermon (not necessarily in that order). We have online hangouts immediately following the service that you are more than welcome to attend.

In-Person Services

As we continue to regather, our in person services will follow the latest Denver Guidelines for churches. Our indoor meetings are masked and socially distanced and do not include kids programming.

We will provide activity bags for your little ones if you let us know they are coming with the form below.

THINGS PEOPLE ASK ABOUT

What Time Is The Service?

Hope Valley Kids (elementary) has a special service at 9:30am just for them.

The Adults and Youth Service starts at 10am and goes until 11:00am. Adults and Youth are invited to UNMUTE and participate in a discussion group immediately after the service.

How can I get the link?

All of our Sunday services start with the same same link then get moved to different breakout rooms. You can come right back here, or find the link at the top of our home page.

Is there something for my younger children and/or Teens?

We have a special service for Kids every Sunday at 9:30am. It's Pastor David's favorite service.

Youth 6th Grade - 12th Grade start the service with the adults and are sent to a breakout room so they can get the same content in small group format.

What has changed by being online?

We currently only do 1 - 2 songs during the service instead of 3 - 4 songs. This is due to the fact that corporate worship doesn't translate well through the ZOOM platform. We eagerly look forward to being together and increasing the amount of time that we spend in worship.

When does Hope Valley plan to meet in person?

HVC desires to embody Hebrews 10:25 “not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some”, while also taking seriously the directives given by our governing federal and local officials. Our desire is driven both by a love for Scripture and a love for our community. So as soon as we can safely meet we will gather again. Please see our COVID tab for more information.

Let Us Know You're Coming!

You can fill out t his form to let us know you're coming. If you fill out this form, we'll be looking for you. If you provide your kids information, then we will have them pre-registered for their classrooms.

Just show up and tell a greeter that you registered and we'll take it from there.
